Responsibilities

• Help manage the back office staff as well as the systems and operations
• Responsible for traveling crates of orthodontic supplies between multiple locations
• Keeps the patient schedule on time by being aware of the daily schedule, working efficiently, and as a member of a cohesive team
• Assists the orthodontist with all assisting duties, including orthodontic procedures, takes x-rays as prescribed
• Maintains cleanliness of treatment rooms and sterilization area, complies with HIPAA, and maintains confidential information
• Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques in managing interpersonal conflict and patient complaints. Is organized, motivated, committed, and self-directed

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous orthodontic lead experience
• In-depth knowledge of all orthodontics dental assistant duties
• All required certifications for dental assisting
• Ability to travel to multiple locations within a territory to provide orthodontic dental assisting services is required
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
