Part-Time Periodontal Associate Position

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Periodontal Associate (2-4x week) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in periodontics and a passion for providing high-quality care to patients. As part of our team, you will work alongside experienced implantologists and restorative dentists, providing comprehensive periodontal treatments, including but not limited to implant surgeries, bone grafting, gum disease treatment, and periodontal maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of periodontal treatments, including implants, periodontal surgery, bone grafting, soft tissue management, and scaling/root planing.
• Work closely with the dental team to create and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Provide exceptional care and patient education on periodontal health and treatment options.
• Collaborate with other specialists in the practice to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using digital charting systems.
• Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and research in periodontics.

Qualifications:

• DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completed a Periodontology residency program.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Periodontics is preferred.
• A passion for patient care and a team-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in implant surgery and periodontal procedures is preferred.
• New York State dental license and current malpractice insurance.
