A well-established private orthodontic practice in Frisco, TX, wants to add a Certified Clinical Orthodontic Assistant to our dedicated and energetic team. 

 

We are looking for a team-oriented individual who excels in a fast-paced, patient-focused practice. The orthodontic assistant acts as an advocate and educator while creating beautiful smiles! This new team member must demonstrate an efficient, knowledgeable, and positive attitude toward every patient experience. Compensation: Based on experience + monthly bonus program eligibility

Schedule

  • Full-Time: Monday through Thursday, with a half-day Friday

  • Office Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide chairside clinical support during orthodontic procedures

  • Take high-quality digital X-rays, photos, and iTero 3D scans

  • Assist with wire changes, banding, debanding, and other orthodontic treatments

  • Help patients and parents understand treatment and promote our services

  • Ask for reviews and referrals in a natural, friendly manner

  • Maintain a clean and efficient clinical environment

  • Support the front office team as needed

  • Follow all guidelines in the office's employee manual

  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of orthodontic assisting experience

  • Certified in Radiology

  • Strong communication skills—must be able to confidently interact with patients

  • Comfortable taking initiative during patient interactions

  • Experience using 3D scanners (especially iTero) and dental imaging software

  • Familiarity with Dolphin Management & Imaging or similar dental software

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
