Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our orthodontic practice.

The Office Manager will be responsible for managing the administrative and financial aspects of the practice, developing and implementing a plan for continued practice growth, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing exceptional patient care.

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, based on experience

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday through Thursday
  • Some Fridays

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the practice, including practice development and growth, staff supervision, scheduling, marketing, training, and performance evaluations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage financial operations, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management
  • Coordinate with insurance providers to ensure proper reimbursement
  • Monitor inventory levels and order necessary orthodontic supplies and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in practice management
  • Growth-minded and ability to market
  • Establish relationships with the patient base
  • Ability to answer phone calls and have an outgoing, fun personality

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven experience in practice management in a private setting, preferably in an orthodontic/dental practice
  • Strong knowledge of dental/orthodontic management principles and practices
  • Proficiency in using practice management software such as Dolphin, Ortho2, or similar platforms
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide staff members
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact with patients, staff members, and referring providers
  • Strong customer service skills
